I laughed and hurt with you. It was such a great description of A Knitter before Christmas. We all vow not to get "caught" this year and somehow we always end up doing "just one more". I was all caught up (honestly) and still, somehow, managed to be knitting a scarf for my brother the two days before Christmas. No, I did not do a swatch! By the way, there is no way any of your gentle readers will call the looney bin on you; we don't want to cut off our supplier of interesting writing and yarns. Thank you for a truly delightful post.
